  Portal Único's current visa-exemption schedule expressly lists these nationalities and their maximum exemption periods. EASE pre-registration and the Airport Security Tax remain separate travel/security formalities, not an ETA or visa decision.
  - The maximum exemption is 30 days for AD, AT, BE, BR, BG, CA, CN, HR, CY, CZ, DK, EE, FI, FR, DE, GR, HK, HU, IS, IE, IT, LV, LI, LT, LU, MT, MC, MA, NL, NO, PL, PT, RO, SM, SG, SK, SI, ZA, ES, SE, CH, TL, GB, US and VA; 60 days for RU and ST; 90 days for BJ, BF, GM, GH, GN, CI, LR, MO, ML, NE, NG, KR and TG; and 180 days for AO, GW, MZ and UA.
  - Before travel, the schedule directs listed citizens to pre-register through EASE and, where applicable, pay TSA up to five days before arrival. The consular FAQ describes pre-registration as supplying flight, exit and accommodation data for prior security verification; it is not described as an authorization or visa grant, so this policy remains visa_free rather than eta.
  - The consular portal says foreign travellers generally must pre-register and pay TSA, but exempts Cabo Verde nationals/natural-born persons and foreign legal residents from pre-registration. TSA exemptions include children under two, qualifying official missions, forced technical/weather landings and airport transit.
  - The exemption schedule says a stay beyond the stated period requires a visa from the nearest Cabo Verde embassy or consular post. The general visitor framework requires a passport valid at least three months at the time of stay.
