  Canada's current guidance requires an ordinary Canadian traveller to obtain the Republic of the Congo visa from its Ottawa embassy before departure and excludes port-of-entry issuance.
  - Obtain the visa from the Embassy of the Republic of the Congo in Ottawa before leaving Canada. The source expressly says it cannot be obtained at a port of entry or at another Congo mission.
