  Cuba's current official tourism guidance requires a tourist visa for a non-resident Democratic Republic of the Congo visitor and makes the electronic tourist-visa route available from anywhere except the United States.
  - Use an ordinary passport issued by the Democratic Republic of the Congo MFA. Cuba names Chinese citizens as visa-exempt; a DRC ordinary-passport holder without Cuban residency must obtain the tourist visa.
  - Obtain the electronic tourist visa before travel; Cuba's D'Viajeros declaration is separate. The tourist visa is single-entry for up to 90 days, with a possible 90-day extension.

- **Current official route — Cuba tourist eVisa: live non-risk nationality schedule** (eVisa)
  For the named active nationalities that the current Cuban Foreign Ministry eVisa schedule neither marks visa-exempt nor risk-routed, the ordinary tourist request remains available through eVisa-Cuba and the issued visa code is sent by email before travel.
  - Each named nationality is an active record in the live Cuban Foreign Ministry eVisa schedule with librev false and riesgo false. This is a direct schedule-based assignment, not an inference from portal branding, a nationality field or an unlisted country.
