## Evidence timeline

- **Current official route — CEMAC and Nigerian ordinary passports: Cameroon visa-free short visit** (Visa-free)
CEMAC’s current official material says visa-free free movement of its Member-State citizens is effective; this maps the five foreign CEMAC passports. A separate Presidency source directly supports the Cameroon–Nigeria bilateral exemption for a three-month stay. Neither source supports a visa-on-arrival or electronic-visa classification.
  - The CEMAC policy applies only to ordinary nationals of the five foreign Member States; it is not an extension of special, diplomatic or service-passport agreements. Admission, passport, health, security and border controls remain applicable.
  - The Cameroon–Nigeria bilateral source supports a stay or residence of up to three months with visa exemption. It is treated as a short-visitor exemption; its continued operation should be rechecked if the agreement or its implementing practice changes.
  - Do not apply this policy to employment, long-term residence, transit, diplomatic, official, service, refugee or other special-document routes.
