## Evidence timeline

- **Current official route — Listed passports use Australia's eVisitor route** (eVisa)
  These passport holders can apply online for eVisitor subclass 651 for qualifying visitor travel.
  - The traveller must be a citizen holding a valid listed passport and be outside Australia when applying and when decided.
  - Visitor stays are generally limited to three months per entry during the eVisitor's 12-month travel period.
  - Criminal or health history can require a Visitor visa subclass 600 instead, and grant does not guarantee entry.
  - Passport codes that can use both ETA and eVisitor retain ETA as this dataset's primary access class.
