- **Current official route — Guam and Northern Mariana Islands: other federal VWP passports require ESTA** (ETA)
  For VWP passports not using the separate G-CNMI program, CBP states that international travel to Guam or CNMI under the federal VWP requires ESTA.
  - This records the federal VWP/ESTA route, not the G-CNMI program. It covers only tourism or business stays of 90 days or less, subject to federal VWP eligibility and admissibility.

  For these federal VWP passport codes not covered by the separate G-CNMI program, the State Department requires approved ESTA before U.S. visitor travel. The Guam/CNMI route is normalized as eta.
