The agreement expressly distinguishes ordinary passports from the diplomatic and service-passport exemption. - The visa is issued free at entry and is valid for a stay not exceeding 90 days. The agreement entered provisionally into force on signature on 24 November 2021, is for an indefinite period, and is currently listed in the Republic of the Congo's ratified-agreement register. - The agreement requires use of border crossings for international traffic and preserves each Party's power to refuse entry or shorten a stay for an undesirable person. Work, residence, transit, diplomatic, service, special-document, carrier and final-admission rules remain separate. The five foreign CEMAC passports are mapped to visa-free admission to the Republic of the Congo.
