Current access classification: **eVisa** — A visa applied for and issued electronically before travel.

This page concerns ordinary short visits unless an official source states otherwise. Authorities apply the current rule, and individual circumstances can change the applicable treatment.

## Evidence timeline

- **Current official route — Ordinary passports returned as eVisa-eligible by the live MFA checker** (eVisa)
For an ordinary PASSPORT and tourism/relatives purpose, the current MFA E-Visa eligibility endpoint returns ALLOWED_FOR_EVISA for these non-exempt, non-invitation-listed passports.
  - The live response is an advance electronic-visa route for ordinary PASSPORT and TOURISM_RELATIVES; it is not an arrival-visa classification even where a separate API field mentions border processing.
  - The temporary residence-permit exemption is conditional on a qualifying physical/sticker permit with at least six months' validity and ends 1 July 2027; it does not replace the passport-only baseline.
