## Evidence timeline

- **Current official route — Foreign CEMAC ordinary passports: Republic of the Congo short-visitor visa exemption** (Visa-free)
CEMAC’s current Commission material confirms effective visa-free movement for its Member-State citizens. The five foreign CEMAC passports are mapped to visa-free admission to the Republic of the Congo. The published common convention describes a three-month tourist rule and document conditions, while the Republic of the Congo’s foreigner law otherwise preserves particular immigration agreements and does not establish a named residual route.
  - Applies to nationals holding ordinary passports of the five other current CEMAC Member States: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
  - The published CEMAC common convention describes tourist free movement for up to three months and requires the community traveller to produce a valid or recently expired national identity card or passport and an international health booklet. The current Commission interview confirms visa-free movement but does not independently restate the duration; verify the convention’s continuing implementation before relying on that limit.
  - It does not establish a right to work, long-term residence, transit, diplomatic, official, service, crew, refugee or other special-document treatment. Entry remains subject to the applicable border, health, public-order, security and admissibility controls.
  - No current source reviewed establishes that an eVisa project, an online service, or case-specific arrival facilitation is an alternative nationality-wide route for this policy.
