- **Current official route — German ordinary passports: named electronic visitor-visa routes** (eVisa)
  Official guidance identifies an electronic visa issued before travel for the listed German ordinary-passport visitor routes.
  - IQ: federal Iraq ended visa-on-arrival issuance on 1 March 2025 and requires an e-visa before entry; Kurdistan has a distinct e-visa process. CU: the Cuban official tourism portal describes the internet tourist visa replacing the tourist card. GA: the temporary e-visa procedure is only for tourists. GQ: for air entry, an online e-visa is required; land entry requires mission processing. NG: since May 2025 only electronic visas are used, delivered with a QR code by email. TD: the entry visa must be applied for online at least seven days before travel.
  - This excludes separate non-tourist visa categories, route-specific limits, health forms, registration and final admission.
