- **February 2, 2026 — Hong Kong and Macao ordinary passports: temporary visa-free visitor waiver** (Visa-free)
  The current MFA Group IV schedule directly grants holders of ordinary passports issued by Hong Kong and Macao SAR governments a temporary visitor waiver.
  - The waiver is limited to three entries during the stated period and up to 30 days on each entry. A valid visa is required for a fourth entry or after expiry.
  - This applies only to ordinary passports issued by the Hong Kong or Macao SAR governments; it is not transferred to mainland Chinese passports, other PRC documents, residence, work, study, special documents, citizenship, or final admission.
