- **Current official route — Nicaragua: Indian ordinary passports eligible for a border-issued visa** (Visa on arrival)
  The current official CA-4 AIP schedule uniquely marks Indian ordinary passports Category B ‘consular or border-issued’. Nicaragua’s migration law likewise describes Category B as consular-without-consultation or border visa. The border-issued route is normalized as visa_on_arrival, not eVisa or ETA.
  - The same ordinary-passport row also permits a consular route; this policy records the expressly available border-issued route as the nationality baseline.
  - The Special Tourist Card is a separate paid personal tourist document, is not an arrival visa, and is not valid for nationals subject to visa restrictions.
  - No online application, duration, fee, entries, extension, onward-travel, funds, accommodation, health or admission outcome is inferred.
  - Residence, work, study, transit, crew, diplomatic, official, service, refugee, stateless, territorial and third-country-document routes are excluded.
