- **April 2, 2025 — United Kingdom ETA nationalities from April 2025** (ETA)
  These European passport holders require an ETA for qualifying short visitor travel to the United Kingdom.
  - Irish citizens are outside this cohort, and Vatican City has separate Holy See document exceptions.
  - The route covers qualifying visitor stays up to six months and approval does not guarantee entry.
  - Valid UK permission, specified British statuses, and lawful Irish residence with Common Travel Area travel can remove the ETA requirement.
  - Airside transit and travel through border control have separate rules.
