- **June 28, 2016 — Marshallese ordinary passports gained covered EU short-stay access** (Visa-free)
  The EU–Marshall Islands agreement is provisionally applied from 2016-06-28; no final entry-into-force notice was located in this review.
  - The waiver is limited to valid ordinary passports and short stays of no more than 90 days in any 180-day period.
  - Paid activity is excluded, and ordinary entry conditions and refusal powers continue to apply.
  - Ireland is excluded; France and the Netherlands are covered only in their European territories.
  - The agreement does not itself establish access to Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, or Liechtenstein.
