## Evidence timeline

- **Current official route — Other foreign ordinary passports: Mauritania electronic visitor visa** (eVisa)
ANRPTS states that foreign visitors may request an online entry visa, that sticker visas have been replaced by online visas, and that a validated visa is printed and used for travel. Together with its exhaustive named reciprocal-exemption list, this directly supports an eVisa baseline for every other foreign ordinary passport in the catalog.
  - Complete the ANRPTS online request, await validation, print the resulting eVisa for boarding, and complete biometrics at the Mauritanian point of entry. The live service offers 30-day, 90-day and 360-day packages and says electronically issued visas allow entry via all international ports of entry.
  - The official procedure requires a passport valid for at least six months. ANRPTS says no entry visa may be obtained with a passport under six months' validity without prior authorization from competent authorities.
  - Airport and border-point processing named in the government procedures portal refers to the ANRPTS procedure and biometric completion. It does not describe a nationality-wide application for a visa on arrival, so this policy remains evisa.
  - This policy excludes the eleven named ordinary-passport reciprocal exemptions, Mauritanian citizenship, diplomatic/service/official and UN documents, work and residence visas, transit, long-stay and individual security or admissibility decisions.
