- **July 7, 2026 — Russian ordinary passports have a temporary Taiwan eVisa route** (eVisa)
  BOCA permits Russian ordinary-passport holders to apply for an eVisa from 7 July 2026 through 6 July 2027.
  - This temporary route is limited to ordinary passports and BOCA's visitor purposes and application conditions.
  - An issued eVisa is single-entry for up to 30 days, is not extendable or convertible, and does not guarantee admission.
