# Slovakia passport to Papua New Guinea: eVisa

## Evidence timeline

- **Current official route — Named ordinary passports: Easy Visitor Permit electronic visitor visa** (eVisa)
  The current public ICA eVisa portal directly names this ordinary-passport cohort in its Easy Visitor Permit eligibility tables. The 2025 ICA handbook establishes that eVisas can be issued, so this is an electronic pre-travel visitor-visa route rather than mere online lodgement or VOA.
  - This policy concerns only national ordinary passports that were unresolved in the separate PNG ordinary-passport batch and are directly named in the portal's 30-day or 60-day Easy Visitor Permit tables. It does not duplicate that batch's direct VOA cohort.
  - The Easy Visitor Permit covers holiday, sightseeing, social or recreational visits and visits to relatives or friends. The 30-day table says online-only application, while the public service is ICA's eVisa portal and the 2025 ICA handbook states that an eVisa can be issued. This is not inferred from a form, payment page, or digital arrival declaration.
  - The portal describes a single entry, 30-day permit and says starred passports may also apply for a 60-day permit. The separate 60-day table directly names additional passports. Work is prohibited; media, organized travel, special passports, residence, business, employment, transit, individual admissibility and extension rules are not normalized here.
  - The portal's 60-day text calls its broader table countries on the VOA schedule, yet that table differs materially from ICA's current VOA page, which expressly excludes mainland France, New Zealand and the United States. The table is used only for its direct electronic-permit names, never to infer VOA; this discrepancy is a material freshness risk.
  - The PNG Digital Arrival Card is a separate arrival declaration and does not change this eVisa classification.

## How to apply

The current 2025 ICA handbook says eVisa can be issued almost instantaneously when entry requirements are met, while also giving a general ten-working-day visa-processing time.

1. Use the official ICA eVisa portal's Easy Visitor Permit option for the directly named ordinary passport, holiday, sightseeing, social, recreational, friends or family purpose.
2. Provide the requested passport and travel information, pay the portal charge where applicable, and wait for the pre-travel visa decision before departure.
3. Complete the separate PNG Digital Arrival Card when required and present the approved visa and travel documents for ICA examination on arrival.
