## Evidence timeline

- **Current official route — Spanish ordinary passports: Palestinian-territory access via Israeli ETA-IL** (ETA)
MAEC says Spain is within the visa-exempt nationalities that must obtain Israel’s ETA-IL for the relevant access route to the Palestinian Territories.
  - The ETA-IL takes effect for access controlled by Israeli authorities; it is not a Palestinian visa.
  - Access to Gaza, West Bank crossings, permits, security controls, closures and final admission remain separately governed.
