- **Current official route — German, Dutch and British ordinary passports: Gabon arrival sticker after electronic preapproval** (Visa on arrival)
  DGDI requires these non-exempt ordinary-passport visitors to obtain online travel authorisation before flying, then takes payment and delivers the visa sticker at Libreville airport; the normalized route is visa on arrival.
  - The live DGDI catalogue contains country records for Germany, the Netherlands and ‘United Kingdom British Citizen’, plus a distinct Ordinary Passport document type; it does not list ordinary passports for those records among the named exemptions.
  - A Travel Authorization Receipt is required before departure, but payment and physical visa-sticker delivery occur on arrival; this is not a pre-travel electronically issued visa.
  - The current Government notice limits the route to air travel through Libreville Léon-Mba International Airport. Work, residence, transit, crew, special documents and final admission remain outside this baseline.
  - The DGDI server currently omits a trusted TLS issuer chain. The central Government directly authenticates the service, but the rule must be refreshed when the normal chain is restored.

## How to apply

The DGDI service states 72 hours after receipt of the request.

1. Use the DGDI service before flying to Libreville.
2. Complete the form and upload the passport data page and required documents.
3. Receive the Travel Authorization Receipt before departure.
4. At Libreville airport, complete payment and receive the physical visa sticker on arrival.
