## Evidence timeline

- **Current official route — Full British citizen passport: Iraq electronic visa** (eVisa)
  FCDO says a full British citizen passport holder must apply before travel through the Government of Iraq e-visa portal.
  - The ordinary visitor visa must be applied for through the stated Iraqi government e-visa portal at least 24 hours before travel; FCDO says visit visas on arrival are no longer available for Iraq.
  - The KRI has a separate e-visa and arrival route that is valid only in the Kurdistan Region and is not this Iraq-wide baseline. Return/onward ticket and final-admission conditions remain applicable.
