  - For American Samoa, this covers the official U.S. citizen/national document route: a valid U.S. passport or equivalent specified citizenship/identity documents, confirmed return or onward travel, and the entry page's proof-of-employment or official-assignment requirement. Travellers meeting the valid-document route do not need an OK Board; its waiver process covers lost, expired or substitute documents.
  - For Guam and CNMI, federal documentary rules regulate nonimmigrant aliens. This is not a foreign visitor category, does not establish entry for a dual national travelling on another passport, and does not cover residence, work, parole, military, transit, diplomatic, special-document or final-admission cases.
