How this access rule is documented

  1. Current official routeVisa required

Afghan ordinary passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina advance short-stay visa

Bosnia and Herzegovina's MFA expressly requires a visa for Afghan citizens and its governing short-stay procedure requires filing with the competent diplomatic or consular mission.

    • Submit the visitor-visa application to the competent Bosnia and Herzegovina diplomatic or consular mission according to the applicant's residence. The ordinary Afghan-nationality entry row requires a visa.
    • The narrow individual emergency border-visa provisions do not establish a nationality-wide visa-on-arrival route. Passport recognition, mission operation, residence, work, transit, special documents, carrier requirements and final admission remain separate.
