    Afghan ordinary passports: Türkiye advance visa baseline

    Türkiye's current MFA guidance requires an ordinary Afghan-passport holder to have a visa and limits eVisa access to travellers with specified third-country visas or residence permits.

    • This is the unconditional ordinary-passport baseline for a short visit; obtain the appropriate visa before travel.
    • The eVisa route requiring a qualifying Schengen, United States, United Kingdom or Ireland visa or residence permit is excluded.
