How this access rule is documented

  1. Current official routeVisa on arrival

Niue: named visitor-waiver passports receive 30-day visitor permit on arrival

Niue Tourism expressly says citizens in its named waiver list need not apply before travel and may receive a 30-day visitor permit on arrival. Because the admission document is issued on arrival, this is normalized as visa_on_arrival rather than visa_free.

    • The current tourism entry page explicitly identifies a waiver list, says no visa application is needed before travel, and expressly places issuance of a 30-day visitor permit on arrival. Only unambiguous project passport-code country matches are mapped; New Caledonia is not a project passport code.
    • The ordinary-passport abstraction does not establish diplomatic, official, emergency, temporary, refugee, stateless, crew, transit, work, study, residence, returnee, Niuean-origin or discretionary-admission treatment.
    • Visitors must have a passport valid at least three months after arrival, pre-booked accommodation, sufficient funds and a return/onward ticket. The source states admission may be refused; these are conditions, not a separate ETA/eVisa status.
