How this access rule is documented

  1. Visa required

Bosnia and Herzegovina: Gulf ordinary passports require a visa from 1 October 2026

The MFA's current Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia pages expressly require a visa for stays after 30 September 2026. The passport-only ordinary visitor baseline therefore becomes visa-required on 1 October 2026.

    • This future-dated baseline does not displace the seasonal exemption through 30 September 2026.
    • The country pages distinguish ordinary passports from special documents; the Saudi diplomatic/official-passport exception is not an ordinary-passport exemption.
    • This is the nationality-and-ordinary-passport baseline, not a determination of separate supporting-visa, residence-document, special-passport or individual exceptional routes.
    • No post-season visitor stay length or electronic-issuance route is established by these sources. Obtaining a visa does not itself guarantee admission.
  2. – Visa-free

Bosnia and Herzegovina: Gulf seasonal waiver ends 30 September 2026

Bahraini, Omani and Saudi ordinary-passport holders are exempt from a visa for entry, exit, transit and stay from 1 June through 30 September 2026, with no more than 60 days of stay in total within that window.

    • This policy concerns ordinary passports of the three named countries; diplomatic and official document arrangements are separate.
    • The 60-day allowance is aggregate within the fixed seasonal window, not 60 days per entry or permission to remain beyond 30 September 2026.
    • The current MFA pages expressly require a visa for stays after 30 September 2026. This seasonal exemption supplies no work or residence permission.
