Belgian ordinary passports: named visitor visas issued at arrival

Current Belgian guidance identifies border-issued visitor visas for these ordinary Belgian-passport routes.

    • IQ: ordinary-passport travellers who are not journalists or NGO employees may in principle obtain a visa on entry; Belgium prefers advance Embassy issuance. TM: a Migration Service letter of invitation enables arrival issuance; without it, tourist and transit visas are issued by the Turkmen Embassy in Brussels. CI: Abidjan-airport issuance requires Snedai pre-enrolment approval, with at least two working days processing.
    • Online preapproval or invitation followed by border issuance is visa_on_arrival, not evisa. Purpose, route, carrier and final-admission conditions remain applicable.
