How this access rule is documented

Canadian ordinary passports: advance Sudan tourist visa

Current Canadian Government guidance specifies a tourist visa for a Regular Canadian passport and directs a visa application at least two months before intended travel. This establishes advance, not arrival, issuance timing.

    • Ordinary Canadian passport and short tourist visit only; Canadian guidance separately warns that official-travel passports can have different rules.
    • Apply before travel: the Government of Canada directs at least two months between the visa application and intended travel and says visas are not automatic.
    • Sudan requires foreigner registration after arrival; that registration is not treated as the visa issuance route.
