Philippines: Chinese ordinary passports 14-day visa-free entry
The current DFA policy establishes a 14-day, non-extendible and non-convertible visa-free route for Chinese nationals for tourism and business.
- For tourism or business only, up to 14 days; it is non-extendible and non-convertible.
- Available only through Ninoy Aquino International Airport or Mactan-Cebu International Airport. Transit passengers need an advance Philippine transit visa before entry.
- Requires a passport valid at least six months beyond the intended stay, confirmed hotel accommodation/booking, return/onward ticket, and no BI derogatory record.
- The Bureau of Immigration implementation order takes effect on 16 January 2026 and remains valid for one year, through 15 January 2027 unless otherwise stated.
- Complete eTravel registration is an entry requirement in the Bureau of Immigration order. It is a declaration, not an ETA or visa; work, residence, crew, diplomatic/official/special documents, admission, and security rules remain separate.
