    Panama: Republic of the Congo ordinary passports

    Panama's live Embassy schedule names Republic of the Congo in the stamped-visa cohort, requiring prior consular processing before travel for visitors without the separate third-country-document waiver.

    • Applies to an ordinary Republic of the Congo passport holder travelling as a short visitor who does not qualify for Panama's separate third-country visa or residence waiver.
    • The stamped-visa instructions require the same prior paperwork as the authorized-visa route and personal appearance at the consulate for passport stamping if granted; approval may take up to 30 business days.
    • Work, residence, transit, diplomatic, official, service, special-document, invitation and final-admission treatment are not classified by this policy.

How to apply

Up to 30 business days, depending on verification and document completion.

  1. Determine that the separate third-country visa or residence waiver does not apply.
  2. Submit the listed stamped-visa documents to the competent Panamanian consulate.
  3. If granted, appear personally at the consulate to have the visa stamped in the passport before travel.
