Named EU ordinary passports: Ukraine short-visit visa waiver

Ukraine's live current-edition Presidential Decree waives visas for citizens of EU Member States entering or transiting Ukraine for stays not exceeding 90 days.

    • Applies to a citizen of the named current EU Member State travelling on that state's standard ordinary passport for a short visitor entry or transit.
    • The Ukrainian Decree itself establishes the named EU-Member-State class; this is not an inference from EU or Schengen rules applicable elsewhere.
    • The Rada portal prints the operative decree as the current edition without a lost-force marker, but does not explicitly label its legal status as in force. The Ukraine MFA's June 2023 table directly corroborates the named visa-free outcomes; this metadata/currentness limitation keeps the cohort at medium confidence.
    • The Decree states a stay may not exceed 90 days. It does not itself state an 180-day calculation, so none is asserted here.
    • Work, residence, diplomatic, service, emergency and other special travel documents, wartime operational access, and final admission remain outside this baseline.
