Other expressly unlisted ordinary foreign passports: visitor exemption up to 90 days
Ecuador's foreign ministry expressly identifies the complete current nationality list for which a visa is required; the other named foreign ordinary-passport codes are therefore visitor-exempt for the regulation's normal maximum of 90 days in one year.
- This complement is inferred only from the ministry's explicit current statement that the listed countries are those whose nationals are required to hold a visa. The current source does not state a nationality-wide eVisa, ETA, arrival-visa, or electronic travel-authorization route for this complement.
- A foreign tourist may remain for a maximum of 90 days from the first entry in a year and may apply once for an extension of up to 90 further days under the regulation. This normal 90-day rule does not replace the distinct South American maximum.
- The traveller must present a travel document verifying identity and satisfy the migration-control officer that the claimed immigration status applies. No work or economic activity is authorized by tourist entry.
