One group agreement or destination policy can support many passport relationships. Dates are recorded only when an official source establishes them.

    Current MFA nationality schedule: visa-free short visitors

    The current MFA diplomatic-post schedule expressly lists these nationalities as visa-exempt. China is added separately only because a current mutual ordinary-passport agreement expressly establishes its exemption.

    • The MFA page says the listed nationalities may stay visa-free for one year. China is limited by its mutual ordinary-passport agreement to a single stay of up to 30 days and an aggregate 90 days in 180 days.
    • This is only the ordinary short-visitor nationality baseline. It does not establish work, residence, study, journalism, diplomatic, official, service, crew, transit, refugee, stateless, special travel-document, dual-nationality, or purpose-specific treatment.
    • A valid third-country visa or residence permit can create a separate 90-in-180 visa-free route under Ordinance No. 256; that document/status exception is not a passport-wide classification.
    • The Law permits refusal for missing documents, bans, false data, lack of insurance or funds, security, public-order or foreign-policy grounds. Border admission remains case-specific.
    • Foreign citizens and stateless persons may enter Abkhazia only via Zugdidi and the Tskhinvali region only via Gori; other directions are prohibited. This territorial rule is not nationality-specific.

    The live official eVisa country page explicitly assigns these passport/country entries to the cohort that is eligible only with a valid Schengen or OECD visa or residence-permit supporting document.

    • The portal requires a valid supporting document: a Schengen visa, a valid visa from an OECD member, or a valid Schengen/OECD residence permit.

    • This is the Ministry's ordinary-passport short-visitor baseline. The source separately labels eVisa and visa-on-arrival rows, so a bare "Visa is required" row is not recast as either route.

    For each named ordinary passport, Georgia's live MFA eligibility response says a visa is needed and no electronic visa is available. The controlling law places non-electronic visa issuance with the MFA, missions and consular offices abroad.
