One group agreement or destination policy can support many passport relationships. Dates are recorded only when an official source establishes them.

Zambia: listed ordinary passports that do not require a visa

DGI expressly places these nationalities in its no-visa entry category.

    • Ordinary-passport nationality classification only. DGI's country list says these nationals do not require a visa to enter Zambia.
    • For air arrival, non-citizens/non-residents need a valid return air ticket; for land or water arrival, they need funds for their stay and departure. Admission remains subject to immigration examination.
    • This does not establish access for diplomatic, official, service, emergency, refugee, stateless or other special travel documents, residents, workers, students, crew, or case-specific travel.
    • Transit, including direct airside transit, and purpose-specific requirements are separate rules.

    Zambia: Zambian citizenship entry

Current Department of Immigration arrival guidance confines the visa requirement to qualifying non-citizens or non-residents; the same-country ordinary-passport relationship is normalized as citizenship, not a foreign visitor visa-free route.

    • DGI's arrival guidance distinguishes Zambian citizens from visa-requiring non-citizens; the no-visa schedule also expressly includes Zambia. This does not decide passport/document, dual-nationality, border, security or individual-admissibility formalities.
    • Direct-air-transit, resident, work, study, diplomatic, official, service and special-document rules are outside this nationality baseline.

  3. Current official routeVisa on arrival

Zambia: listed ordinary passports eligible for visa on arrival

DGI expressly allows these nationalities to get a visa at any Zambian port of entry.

    • DGI states these nationalities may receive a visa on arrival at any port of entry or from selected Zambian missions.
    • The same page says they may apply online, but that optional online route does not replace the expressly available arrival-visa route or make this a nationality-wide eVisa classification.
    • For arrival issuance, DGI requires host information and a physical Zambia address, a passport valid at least six months from entry with at least three full blank pages, and either a return air ticket or sufficient funds for land/water arrival.
    • Purpose, residence, employment, study, crew, transit, diplomatic, official, special-document and individual admissibility rules remain separate.

  4. Current official routeeVisa

Zambia: listed ordinary passports requiring prior-clearance eVisa

DGI requires these nationalities to apply online and receive an approval letter before travelling to Zambia.

    • DGI says this category requires advance clearance, online application through eServices, and an approval letter before travel; it cannot use a visa-on-arrival route.
    • The electronic approval is an eVisa for the model's pre-travel-entry category; it does not guarantee admission, which remains subject to immigration examination.
    • Bring the approval letter and receipt to entry. DGI states eVisa approval-letter holders may enter through any port of entry.
    • DGI notes that applicants under 16 cannot make an eVisa application themselves and must be included in an adult's application when travelling with an adult.
    • Does not decide special documents, diplomatic/official treatment, residence, employment, study, crew, transit or case-specific purpose rules.

Taiwan ordinary passports: named visa-free short visits

Taiwan MOFA BOCA's current outbound schedule places these destinations in its visa-free category for Taiwanese travellers.

    • This is the ordinary Taiwanese-passport short-visitor baseline recorded in BOCA's current visa-free schedule; destination rules, stay limits and entry conditions can change.
    • It excludes work, residence, transit-only facilities, emergency or other non-ordinary travel documents, carrier controls and individual final-admission decisions.
