Named ordinary passports: pre-entry visa required
The Ministry of National Security's live notice expressly identifies twelve passport nationalities for which a visa is required for entry, including Bangladesh and Nepal, and directs use of its new visa-application platform.
- Applies to the listed nationalities' ordinary-passport short-visitor baseline; the notice does not establish treatment for diplomatic, official, service, refugee, emergency, stateless, residence or other special documents.
- The Ministry requires a pre-entry visa application and identifies supporting evidence, including passport bio page, photograph, sponsor letter, police certificate, financial evidence and, where applicable, accommodation, charter and itinerary evidence.
- The online Ministry service accepts an application, documents and payment. The reviewed official sources do not say that the entry visa itself is issued electronically, so this is not normalized as eVisa.
- Final admission, visitor-permit duration, extension, onward travel, funds, purpose, security and other immigration controls remain separate from the pre-entry visa requirement.
