    EU ordinary passports: visa-free short visit to Monaco

    For a short visit, Monaco applies the same foreigner entry and circulation regime as France. Union citizens need no French entry visa, therefore have a visa-free visitor route to Monaco.

    • This is an ordinary visit of under three months under Monaco's France-aligned entry regime; Monaco is not a Schengen Member State.
    • Use a valid passport or national identity card as applicable. Admission, document validity, purpose, funds, public-order and route checks remain applicable.
    • No separate Monegasque eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival route is established by the reviewed official sources.
