Listed visa-waiver passports require an NZeTA

These passport holders can travel without applying for a visitor visa first but must obtain an NZeTA before travel.

    • Visitor permission is normally limited to three months and excludes medical consultation or treatment.
    • The NZeTA must be linked to the passport used for travel and is generally valid for multiple trips over two years.
    • The traveller applies for a Visa Waiver Visitor Visa and entry permission on arrival; approval is not guaranteed.
    • Health, character, genuine-visitor, onward-travel, funds, and passport-validity requirements apply.
