German ordinary passports: Burkina Faso electronic visitor visa
German ordinary-passport visitors must obtain Burkina Faso's electronically issued short-stay visa before travel.
- Apply online before travel; the Federal Foreign Office says a visa-on-arrival request is accepted only in urgent exceptional cases and is not reliable for a normal visitor baseline.
- The official Burkina Faso embassy guidance says approved applicants receive the EVISA document by email and present it at the border.
- This excludes work, residence, transit, diplomatic or special documents, the separate entry-form QR code, and final admission.
