    Ghanaian ordinary passports: Panama stamped visitor visa

    Panama's live Embassy schedule expressly includes Ghana in its stamped-visa cohort, requiring consular processing and passport stamping before travel unless a separate third-country-document waiver applies.

    • Applies to an ordinary Ghanaian passport holder travelling as a short visitor who does not qualify for Panama's separate third-country visa or residence waiver.
    • Submit the listed stamped-visa documents before travel; approval may take up to 30 business days and, if granted, the applicant must appear personally for passport stamping.
    • Work, residence, transit, special documents and final admission remain outside scope.

  1. Determine that the separate third-country visa or residence waiver does not apply.
  2. Submit the listed stamped-visa documents to the competent Panamanian consulate before travel.
  3. If granted, appear personally at the consulate to have the visa stamped in the passport.
