Named South American ordinary passports: visitor entry up to 180 days

The current exhaustive required-visa list does not include these named South American nationalities, and the Human Mobility Regulation allows South American tourists up to 180 days in a year.

    • The 180-day figure is the maximum that migration control may grant to a South American tourist in one year; it is not a guaranteed stay or an authorization for employment or economic activity.
    • The classification rests on the Foreign Ministry's explicit current list of all nationalities for which Ecuador requires a visa, read with the visitor-stay rule. It does not establish national-identity-card use, residence, work, transit, diplomatic, official, emergency, refugee, or other special-document treatment.
    • Entry remains subject to presenting an identity-verifying travel document, migration-control verification of the invoked status, security and admissibility requirements, and any current health or carrier requirements.
