    Ecuador: HKSAR ordinary passports visa-free short visits

    Ecuador's reciprocal Visa Abolition Agreement expressly gives HKSAR passport holders visa-free visits up to 90 days; the live HKSAR Immigration Department list continues to show Ecuador with a 90-day stay.

    • Applies to HKSAR passport holders visiting Ecuador for up to 90 days under the reciprocal Visa Abolition Agreement.
    • The 1999 agreement took effect on 3 October 1999; the current HKSAR Immigration Department Ecuador entry still displays a 90-day stay.
    • Employment, residence, study, non-HKSAR travel documents, passport validity, health, security and final border-admission requirements remain outside this short-visitor policy.
