How this access rule is documented

  1. Current official routeVisa-free

Philippines: Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR ordinary passports visa-free for 14 days

The current DFA eVisa policy gives Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR passport holders a 14-day visa-free temporary-visitor route.

    • Maximum initial stay is 14 days; the Macao-SAR route expressly requires a return or onward ticket.
    • This mapping is confined to Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR passports. It does not cover British National (Overseas), Hong Kong British, Macao-Portuguese, other Chinese documents, or holders of residence documents.
    • eTravel is a declaration, not an ETA or visa. Work, residence, transit, crew, diplomatic/official/special documents, Balikbayan, security, and admission discretion remain separate.
