    Brunei: Category D1 ordinary-passport 90-day visa waiver

The live MFA country schedule assigns these ordinary passports to Category D1, whose conditions expressly waive a visa for up to 90 days.

    • The D1 waiver is up to 90 days. A visa application is required for a longer stay and for business visits; no work, residence, professional visit or extension right is established.
    • E-Arrival Card registration supplies arrival/travel/accommodation information and a reference number. Immigration separately requires a visa if applicable, so the declaration is not normalized as an ETA or visa authorization.
    • A recognised passport with at least six months’ validity is required. Admission, funds, onward travel, security, health and immigration-officer conditions remain separate.
