    Irish ordinary passports: expressly electronic visitor visas

    Current Irish DFA guidance expressly states an electronic visa route for the listed destinations.

    • IQ: the DFA states that visas can be obtained online via the Republic of Iraq Ministry of the Interior website. Federal-Iraq and Kurdistan-region rules, entry points, security, purpose and final admission remain separate.
    • GQ: the DFA expressly says Irish citizens can apply online for an electronic visa. Passport validity, health, purpose, entry-point and final-admission rules remain applicable.
