Israeli ordinary passports: visa issued on arrival
The current statutory schedule requires a visa for Israeli nationals, while the current Department Category Two list and official Malawi mission guidance expressly supply the compatible border-issued route. The live portal selector's no-visa result cannot override the replacement Schedule.
- This is an ordinary Israeli passport, short-visitor route only. Government Notice No. 1's listed passport exceptions concern diplomatic or service passports, not this ordinary-passport policy.
- The traveller may board without a pre-departure visa and obtains the visa at the port of entry. Final admission remains subject to Malawi Immigration laws and regulations.
- The eVisa route is an optional alternative. The status is visa_on_arrival because the current mission guidance states where the visa is issued.
