    American Samoa: named Entry Permit Waiver Program passports

    The current American Samoa Administrative Code names these citizenships for a 30-day Entry Permit Waiver Program route, but requires prior approved OK-to-Board authorization.

    • The traveler must obtain the territorial OK-to-Board authorization at least three business days before travel; the waiver is therefore normalized as ETA, not visa-free.
    • The program permits tourism and specified business only for up to 30 days; it requires a machine-readable passport, onward travel, lodging/host confirmation, fee, and admissibility.
    • Citizenship by investment is excluded. Work, credit study, residence, commercial-vessel boarding, diplomatic/official, special-document and other routes are excluded.
    • The Attorney General may modify the list by memorandum; entry remains discretionary.

    American Samoa: named current waiver-country online 30-day permit

    The current American Samoa Government list names this 46-code ordinary-passport cohort, including Qatar. Its current U.S. Visa/Waiver visitor service requires online application and an emailed permit before arrival; that mandatory electronic pre-travel authorization is normalized as eta.

    • Apply and obtain the emailed American Samoa visitor permit before travel; the portal states applications must be submitted online within three business days before travel.
    • The route is limited to a 30-day visitor permit, requires a qualifying passport/document, return ticket within 30 days, lodging/local-contact evidence, fee and admissibility. It is not a visa-free entry.
    • The program’s precise statutory EPWP label and country-list update mechanism, work, residence, credit study, transit, crew/commercial-vessel, diplomatic, official, special-document, third-country-document and final-admission treatment are outside this ordinary visitor mapping.

  2. Provide the required travel, lodging and onward-travel information and pay the fee.
  3. Present the approved OK-to-Board document to Immigration on arrival.
