    India: Maldivian ordinary passports exempt for short visits

    India's current bilateral-relations brief describes bilateral visa-free tourism, medical and business entry for Maldives nationals for up to 90 days in the preceding six months.

    • For tourism, medical, and business purposes only; stay may not exceed 90 days in the preceding six months.
    • Valid passport/travel document and other applicable entry, security, health, admission, registration, protected-area, transit, crew, residence, work, and document rules remain applicable.
    • The separate diplomatic/official-passport waiver is outside this ordinary-passport policy.
