    Maltese ordinary passports: Iraq visitor visa issued at arrival

    Iraq's current Foreign Ministry guidance includes European Union passports in its visitor visa-on-arrival cohort, which includes ordinary Maltese passports.

    • Ordinary Maltese passport holder; the visa is issued at Iraqi land, air or sea border crossings and is stated as valid for 60 days.
    • Iraq separately advises, but does not require in place of this route, pre-travel eVisa use. Work, residence, special passports, Iraqi-origin treatment and final admission remain separate.
