EU visa-list Regulation: Nauru exemption remains conditional on a future agreement
The current Regulation lists Nauru in Annex II with a footnote that makes an exemption conditional on entry into force of an agreement still to be concluded with the EU.
- Ordinary-passport short-stay result only, for stays of no more than 90 days in any 180-day period.
- The result follows the current Nauru Annex II footnote; it is not a conclusion about a future agreement or its possible effective date.
- Article 6 permits Member State exceptions for specified categories, including diplomatic, service, special, crew, school, refugee, and paid-activity cases; those are out of scope.
- Does not determine transit, residence, family-free-movement, territorial, document, asylum, humanitarian, or case-specific entry treatment.
