    Iceland: Nauruan ordinary passports

    Iceland's April 2026 regulation moved Nauru into Annex 8's visa-required cohort and removed it from Annex 9's exemption cohort.

    • Applies to a current ordinary Nauruan passport for short visitor travel.
    • The amendment was signed on 7 April, published on 28 April 2026 and took immediate effect upon publication; it expressly changed both the visa-required and visa-exempt annexes.
    • Family-member rights, residence, long stays, diplomatic or special documents and final admission remain separate.
