QGRV-listed ordinary passports: VIVIS required
For these ordinary national passports, the QGRV VIVIS column records that a Brazilian visitor visa is required before the short visit.
- This is limited to the QGRV VIVIS column for an ordinary passport. It does not infer a rule from PADIP, PASOF, residence status, special passport, laissez-passer, refugee document, or alien travel document.
- The required visa is a visitor visa; purpose, length, and entry conditions are assessed under the visa and ordinary migration rules, and the visa does not itself authorize residence or paid work.
- For Haitian nationals, the later MRE notice says QGRV was updated to require prior consultation with MRE Brasília for VIVIS. That additional case-management condition remains applicable.
- For Taiwan, the QGRV's distinct treatment is document-specific; this ISO-code policy does not establish admission on a Taiwan diplomatic, official, or special passport.
